About JW...
JW Davis has studied advance English at Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, Michigan. He was a Journalist with the Henry Ford Community College newspaper.
Mr. Davis was an Engineering Coordinator for a major automotive supplier for 23 years near Dearborn, Michigan. He was an Administrator responsible for major electrical design engineering responsibilities for the Daimler-Chrysler community within the company.
JW is an outspoken advocate for tougher laws for child killers after the brutal murder of his 15 month-old grandson, in December of 2003 in Wisconsin. He went to Wisconsin and lobbied the Governor and state legislators for tougher laws and penalties for infant, toddler and child killers. He appeared on radio talk shows across the state and was featured in several newspaper articles dealing with this tragedy. He is responsible for developing and promoting the Miles Davis Initiative, in honor of his grandson. This was a bill intended to hold child killers to a higher standard of justice for the killing of our children. He worked with several national Child Protection agencies during this time.
JW has been instrumental in running, developing and marketing various companies since 1980. He has been the business owner of a local landmark restaurant, Zesto Family Diner in Athens, Tennessee. He was also Business Owner and Manager of a Limousine company called Masters Limousine Services in Michigan, Tennessee and Kentucky.
He was a co-founder and the Operations Director of the Western Kentucky Real Estate Investment Association, (WKREIA). He founded WKREIA in January, 2008 with an associate, Gregory Taylor, a Real Estate and Probate Attorney in Murray, KY. The group met the third Thursday of every month at Murray State University. JW holds a Real Estate Certificate of Achievement from the Whitney Education Group at the Russ Whitney Real Estate Academy. He also holds Real Estate Certificate's in Real Estate Wholesale Buying, and U.S. Tax Lien and Deeds from the Academy.
JW was recently in charge of Security Operations for the community of Pirates Cove Resort in Hardin, Kentucky, a 66 square mile area of over 500 resort vaction homes, 5 campgrounds, a beach area, a marina, a 12 room hotel/lodge, a clubhouse and pool area and a private airport runway on Kentucky Lake in Western Kentucky. He re-organized and implemented the Pirates Cove Resort Neighborhood Watch Association and was recently the Security and Safety Coordinator in the Pirates Cove Resort community.
He was also instrumental in organizing and promoting a Neighborhood Watch program series called the Community Watch Series. This series was instrumental in providing and promoting local, state and national speakers in the region to inform and educate the citizens of the surrounding communities and Neighborhood Watch groups in Safety and Security as well as Disaster Preparedness.
JW has planned, organized, advertised and promoted the Marshall County Farmers Market in Aurora, Kentucky at the Aurora Visitors Center. He was instrumental in gathering sponsors for the market and advertising it in the region.
JW was also the Chairman of the Aurora Country Festival in Aurora, Kentucky in 2010, 2011, & 2012. He was responsible for organizing, advertising, and marketing the Festival and Parade for the Jonathan Aurora Action Committee, (JAAC), a local business owners association. He was also the administrative secretary for the organization.
He is currently a volunteer Fire Fighter for the Aurora- Ross Fire Department in Aurora, KY, and the Hardin-South Marshall Fire Department in Hardin, Kentucky in Marshall County. He has numerous certificates in Fire Fighting. He is a member of the Marshall County Emergency Responders Alliance. JW is also a member of the Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) in Pasco County, Florida.
He has basic and advanced weapons training as well as training and certificates in Disaster, Chemical & Biological attack and Terrorist Training.
He is a firm believer in researching, developing and implementing Safety and Security strategies and solutions for Personal, Home and Business Owners, including the protection of their assets. "It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that Safety, Security and Asset protection benefit everyone involved in fantastic and dynamic ways", he said. "I intend to present and put in motion strategies, solutions and events for Home and Business Owners I feel privileged to be involved with and to participate with them in the idea to help them achieve protection for a part of their lives that is commonly overlooked in the fast paced life of the 21st century", he said. “We look forward to meeting with you and helping you, through review and assessment, to protect what is near and dear to you.
